Meet AutoWorks Shop Dog, Labrador Retriever
In Loving Memory of Buddy
Buddy, a black Labrador retriever, spent 5 years at AutoWorks. At the age of 7 years, Buddy passed away suddenly in 2021.
AutoWorks would not have been complete without its day-resident dog: a black Labrador retriever whose name everybody knew. Buddy joined the team when he was a little over 2 years old. Buddy greeted all our customers with a high degree of enthusiasm. He was big and strong and full of energy. But most of all, he was the friendliest dog you could ever meet (unless, of course, you meet another Lab).
True to the temperament of his breed, Buddy had a kind, pleasant, outgoing, and tractable nature. He was fiercely loyal. He instinctively enjoyed holding objects and hands or arms in his mouth, which he did with great gentleness.
Buddy spent most of his day in the air-conditioned office and resting in his bed, moving with much excitement when a customer came into the waiting room and when he smelled food. We miss him every day.
